• 2 day course to coach and assess practical and background knowledge needed to become a sailing instructor.
• Courses can be focused for dinghy, keelboat or catamaran sailor. 
• Day 1 Classroom session, Backgound Knowledge assessment and knowledge top up (topics Meteorology, Tides, Bouyage, Sailing Terms IRPCS). On the water, coaching of specific pre entry exercises.
• Day 2 Background knowledge test and on the water assessement of specific pre entry exercises.

Prerequisites :

• Minimum 17 years within 6 months of completion of the course or 1st July 2017.
• Sailing level equivalent to ISA  Advanced Boat handling, Kites & Wires, Adventure or Start Racing.
• Recommondation from Centre Principal or Club Officer.

Qualifications :

Pre entry Cerificate valid for one year from the date of the completion of the course.
