5 Day practical course is a mixture of classroom, land drills and scenarios on the water sessions.  Assessment is continuous through the course with mid course debrief to ensure participents know their progression throughout the 5 days. • Taking a skill, breaking it down to its core parts.
• Teaching a skill in a step by step system.
• To develop the skill to run sailing sessions afloat and ashore 
• Learning how to plan and deliver a sailing course.
• Teaching the ISA SBSS scheme from Taste of Sailing to Improving Skills. 
• Getting the know the ISA system

Prerequisites :

• Minimum 17 years.
• Recommendation from Club Officer or Centre Principal.
• Dinghy Instructor Pre Entry completed in the past 12 months.
• Valid Emergency Care Certificate from approved course

• ISA National Powerboat Certificate Level 2 (endorsed with tiller and console controls and with 20 hours logged following certification)
