Curriculum :

• This one day course offers an introduction to the application of First Aid .
• The curriculum follows the REC program to include 
• Basic Accident proceedure
• Basic Life Support
• Bleeding and Bandaging 
• Fractures, Strains, Sprains and Dislocations
• Common Medical Emergencies, Medical Conditions, Choking, Poisoning 
• Hypo and Hyperthermia how to regconise the symptoms 

Prerequisites :

No Previos experience is needed to undertake this course 

Qualifications :

REC 1 Certification

Acceptable for ISA  Dinghy and Powerboat Instructorship course pre requisites. 

Course Type : Day/evening/weekend sessions

Duration : 1 Day or 2 evenings

Cost : €â‚¬ 80 per person (plus €10 per cert)

Notes :

Certifiation is valid for 2 years from date of the course.
